>Process Development for Cell Culture processes (upstream) - Monoclonal antibody production
>Optimizing the upstream process in the lab bioreactors for the production of monoclonal antibodies using mammalian cells.
>Scaling up the process at the pilot and production scale and trouble shooting for the processes in the manufacturing plant

Desired Profile
>Candidate should have very good theoretical subject knowledge.
>Freshers with good academic record (only above 65%) can apply.
>Male candidates will be preferred since the job involves working in shifts.

    Dear Tania,
    I saw one job requirements for freshers at Biocon Ltd Banglore. I am interested to apply. What is the mode of application? I have done BE in Biotechnology from BIET, Davangere and presently doing MTech in Industrial Biotechnology from NITK, Surathkal, which is going to be over by June’09. I have got good basic knowledge of biotechnology during my BE and MTech courses and I am very much interested to pursue my carrier in biotechnology at Biocon Ltd Banglore. I also have done two months of Industrial internship on “Trace and bulk salt analysis over Dionex ICS 3000 Ion exchange chromatography” under the supervision of Mr. Ankur Bhatnagar and Mr. Biswamohan Pati in Mammalian cell culture lab, R&D unit at Biocon Ltd Banglore. I have just finished my nine months of MTech curriculum project over “Production of substrate specific aminopeptidase enzyme from lactic acid bacteria and their scale-up studies (5L batch fermenter) at pilot plant scale” at NIIST (CSIR), Trivandrum.
    So, I wanted to know how I can forward me resume to you for further proceedings.
