Key Responsibilities - Biochemical assay development and screening.

Required Skills – Good analytical abilities, demonstrated capability of establishing cell free biochemical assays. Good biochemistry knowledge. Familiarity with data analysis softwares.

Qualifications – Masters degree in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology

Experience - 2 years and above, preferably in a drug discovery company. Experience in absorbance, fluorescence, luminescence, radioactive-based enzymatic assays.

Job Description

• Good knowledge and understanding about the mechanism, action of various drugs, cell signaling, gene expression and regulatory pathways.
• Expertise in metabolic / respiratory-inflammation pathways or experience in drug discovery will be an added advantage.
• To lead and advance small molecule drug candidates into pre-clinical and clinical studies.
• Required to provide scientific and creative leadership, to co-ordinate multiple scientific areas for preclinical screening and characterization of novel chemical entities as potential candidates for development. To apply state of art scientific methods and knowledge to drug discovery.
• Ability to establish and maintain external collaborations is also required.
• Ability to lead a team along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications
M S / Ph D in Biology with 05 – 10 yrs experience in reputed R&D organization.
