Job Title : Field Service Engineer

Description :

Responsible for on-site installation, implementation, maintenance and repair of company and multi-vendor systems solutions which may include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems. Installs and optimizes hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites. Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems. Performs maintenance and repair services. Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance. Proactively responds to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business. Delivers (does not design) fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems and applications software. Serves as an internal resource on technical issues. May train other field engineers or customers. May calibrate equipment on-site for large volume customers.
•Works on on-site customer service and support assignments with broadly defined objectives
•Solves non-routine issues, challenges and problems within field of specialization

Qualifications :

BTech / MTech in Biotechnology / Genetics / Master Degree in Micro Biology is preferred to handle our Genomics products. We would give more preference to the people who has exposure on wet lab / Molecular Biology Techniques / Sequencing and exposure in MICRO ARRAY’S / REAL TIME PCR’s etc.,

Junior Scientist– (Custom Microarray Designing)

We are looking for Junior Scientist who will be responsible for designing microarray chips. It includes co-ordinating with the clients, understanding and planning the projects, creating, validating and verifying the microarray designs.

Job responsibilities:
Microarray project discussion and planning with client.
Perform sequence analysis, design probes, prepare technical reports, summaries and protocols.
Design microarray.
Perform Quality Control.
Releasing design to clients.

Requirements:
Masters in Bioinformatics /Life sciences.
Minimum of 1 year experience in related field.
Good communication skills.
Good analytical ability.
Basics of Microarray technology.
Good knowledge on Bioinformatics tools and techniques specially Sequence Analysis viz., ENTREZ, BLAST (Online and standalone), RepeatMasker, EMBOSS, ClustalW and other tools.
Good Knowledge of Biological databases and mining data from them.
Knowledge of PERL is essential.
Excellent Knowledge on Microsoft Excel and Access.
Quick to learn computer applications and software packages.
