Research Associate / Research Scientist: Cell Biology
Education: MSc. in cell biology, immunology, pharmacology, biochemistry, or a related area with a minimum of two years of hands-on LABORATORY experience.
Experience and Skills (preferred):
Mammalian cell culture (Tissue culture)
Perform cell based assays such as proliferation, apoptosis, internalization, adhesion and invasion . Maintain cell lines, develop and run cell-based assays.
Interpret and report data to the drug discovery teams, maintain accurate laboratory records (SOPs) and input appropriate data into databases.
Experience with blood work (Hematology) and working with radioisotopes is required.
Experience with ELISAs, Cell culture, immuno-precipitation, western blotting, cell-based assays , fluorescent imaging and immuno-histochemistry preferred.
Experience with data analysis and graphing software preferred.
Attention to detail is important as well as the ability to work in a fast paced environment performed independently with minimal supervision.
Research Associate: Protein purification
Education: M.Sc in Chemistry or Biochemistry with 3-5 years Laboratory experience in Protein Sciences
Experience and Skill:
1.Extensive hands-on experience in purification techniques, including scaled-up chromatography and filtration processes.

Education: M.Sc. /BSc. Minimum 2years Laboratory experience in Molecular Biology preferred
Experience and skill:
DNA cloning and vector construction
stable and transient transfection of mammalian cells.
RNA isolation, quantitative RT-PCR; SDS-PAGE; Western blots and immunologic techniques.
Some familiarity with epifluorescence and/or confocal microscopy, and FACS analysis.

Senior Scientist: Molecular Biology/Virology
Education: Ph.D. in virology, molecular biology, or related scientific field with a minimum of 3-5 years of post-doctoral research.
Experience and Skill:
The candidate must have relevant laboratory experience in the field of virology and molecular biology. Experience in retroviral and lentiviral vectors is a strong plus.
Expertise in developing and expressing viral constructs as well as characterization of these constructs is a prerequisite.

The candidate will be able to develop scaleable purification processes that translate to pilot-plant scale to produce clinical material.

The candidate will be able to develop cell-based assays, ELISA assays, and general characterization assays. Knowledge of DNA characterization is a plus.
